Flogstaskolan is a school from preschool class to grade 3, with an associated after-school center. Flogstaskolan is a smaller school where you have close collaboration with all staff at the school. The school is located in an area close to nature. At Flogstaskolan, we focus on the physical, social, and pedagogical learning environment and work towards an equitable school for all students.

Your mission

We are looking for an after-school teacher with a broad subject competence. During the school day, you will serve as a pedagogical resource and may conduct some teaching. Your work will include planning, implementing, following up, and developing the education at the after-school center based on the central content and skills in the curriculum.

Once a week, you will have the opportunity to meet with other staff from the after-school center where practical issues and joint planning will be the focus.

Your background

We are looking for someone with a teaching license with qualifications for the after-school center. We also see that you have experience in teaching at the after-school center as well as experience working in primary school in earlier years. Teaching in another subject is considered an asset. The job requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish, good IT skills, and knowledge of the after-school center's governing documents.

As a person, you are communicative and have an easy time listening and adapting your way of communicating. You have a good pedagogical ability and an understanding of people's different conditions for acquiring knowledge. Furthermore, you are someone who is good at creating, maintaining, and developing professional relationships. The job suits you if you are good at collaborating and relating to others in a responsive and flexible manner. Additionally, you are clear and ensure that your messages are conveyed correctly.
